Production blog: Finished editing the Music Video!

Here you can see a sneak peek of the Music Video my group and I created!

Hi guys welcome back! Since Jenna last time made revisions on what scene was what and if all the scenes were complete, it gave the group an advantage. As the video was rewatched over and over again to see what could be added to it to make it unique and good, the group cane up with an idea. Mia and Amaya took in consideration the thought of using filters to show a sad tone. As the filters were applied, many things came to the group's head. For example, how can this Music Video be 10 times better? I decided to take a look at more youtube videos on tips to make a video look better than before. I saw many things but they didn't really make sense with the video until I saw it. I saw how to fix the lighting. The lighting in the music video is overall not bad but it could use some improving. So, I asked Jenna to use her phone or computer to edit the lighting. I played around with the lighting features like the shadows, brightness, sharpness, saturation etc. Since the scenes were in portrait mode there was a feature in the editing part of photos that changes it from portrait to landscape and via-versa. The next part was to trim and cut the video scenes made so they could fit perfectly into the video. They were cut down because it was supposed to be five seconds instead of nine. It had to be kept in mind that there was a certain maximum and minimum time frame. After that, the video was muted so the song could be put over it. As soon as the split screen, lighting, filters were applied, a new CapCut project was made. The group and I clicked the videos in order and blended them together. The video was then saved with the song to the camera roll and extracted the sound out of the video and pasted it in the music video. The last step was to click finish product and save it to the camera roll. Now that the editing is finished, we will go over it one more last time to see if any tweaks can be made or improved. Bye guys, see you in a bit!
