Production Blog: Unexpected start to recording

This is my group member practicing her lines.

Hi guys welcome back to Zoe’s world! I have some surprising news to share. Well, it was decided to film on either Friday or Tuesday but things took a turn. Since my group and I were free and had no homework or work, I took the opportunity to get some filming in. After school, the group met up in the student parking lot and went to eat. While eating, everything was planned out on how it was going to go, giving the editor/recorder some tips and tricks before recording. The group came into an agreement that the beach scenes would be filmed another day due to the weather in Florida these past few days. It has been very cold because of the sudden cold fronts. This made sense to the group because none of us would get in the water and film with the cold water and environment. So, the indoor scenes would just be filmed today. When the group got home the filming began. I took out the props and organized the set of the first few scenes. At first, it was difficult for me since I’m not a video type of person. I don’t like to be recorded so this was a bit challenging for me. I will admit, it took some tries to get the hang of it but after some attempts, the scene was completed. First scene was done now moving on to the first scene’s second part. I got out of the set so the group member in that scene could focus and not see me as a distraction. Thankfully, it wasn’t just me who took a lot of tries to get the scene right. Two scenes were filmed. the group was on track. The second scene began as the members who weren’t in scene left the room except for the recorder. Again, the props were taken out and the filming started. This scene was quite simple as my group member and I had rehearsed what was going to be said and done exactly. The scenes were done! I put away all the props and organized the set once again. Then, the group watched the scenes made and analyzed them to see if they were successful. They were in fact very good which leads me to saying goodbye for now! Bye guys.
