Production Blog: Couldn’t meet up today.
This is me at work rewatching the video made to see if we did it correctly.
Welcome back to Zoe's world! In the last blog, I explained how my group and I started editing. The group was supposed to meet up sometime this week but as the students were busy, that wasn't possible. Unfortunately, this means that no editing could be done today. In order for the editing to happen, the group needs to come into agreement on what feature of editing fits right with the music video made. From the last blog, the split screens were made throughout the video demonstrating the two perspectives of the setting. So I facetimed the group and asked what would be good for me to do. The first thing that was said was youtube videos. I immediately agreed because in the last project when I used tutorials and youtube videos I found on the internet I learned so much. In the commercial, I had basically not one little idea about editing. I made progress while watching editing videos. I find these helpful since the people walk you through it in order for you to understand. Although, Im more of an on hands learner, I got somewhat an understanding to it. I also asked my friend in my 8th period class to help me with some tips. He's an editor and photographer for the school events and yearbook. I rather be lost and ask for help than just stay clueless. As I asked him questions and payed attention to how he explained it. After class ended, I had some notes to look over that I took when this certain friend was teaching me the basics of editing a music video. I went home, got ready for work and decided to take more notes on my break. I continued my notes just so they could help me when I met up with the group. Hopefully if things go according to plan, we can meet up and discuss the editing together as a group. Notbthat much editing is needed so it shouldn't be that bad. I'll see you guys next time, bye guys!
