Production blog: Finishing up commercial
Examples of the videos I will be putting in my commercial.
Hi guys welcome back to Zoe’s world! Today is the big day, the actual composing of the commercial. Now that I have every piece to my project, it’s time to make it look good. The videos and pictures are exactly what I wanted them to be. I want this commercial to represent me as a person but also a little of my life. What’s going to happen is I will open the Capcut app and go back to the saved project I had in progress. As the days passed, I learned and acquired a lot of knowledge about editing that I think could improve my commercial. While opening the project, the next thing I do is gather all the video and pictures into one album so I don’t have to be searching all over my camera roll. After, I add the first picture and video. It looks pretty wonky at first but when the transitions and editing is added, it improves. I edit and tweak the little bad bits until it finally looks smooth. This is where I add the background music which is the instrumental version of Bless by The Alchemist. This is done now and not when finishing because then I know which beats and parts to place each video and picture. The 2nd video and picture is now added steadily to not mess up the flow of the commercial. I always check to see how it looks before continuing. Moving on, this is when the 3rd final picture and video are added. Like I said before, always check and edit with caution so it doesn’t mess up the other parts of the commercial. The last part of completing my blog is to add my final touches. For example, playing around with the filters, templates, saturation, highlights and shadows. I do this until I’m satisfied with my commercial project. Which leads me to saying goodbye until next time. Catch y’all later!
