Production Blog; Discovering editing app
Welcome back to Zoe’s world! Today I learned how to use an editing app called Cap Cut. Honestly, I heard about it many times since I saw people use it for like social media videos but I never really knew anything else about the app. Well, I downloaded it today because it could be useful for my commercial project. So when opening the app, I cant even lie I was lost. It took me to the home page but I wasn’t sure where to start. I ended up clicking random buttons like signing up button. After that, I pressed new project. I added the photos and videos I chose for my previous blog and added those to it. I played around with the buttons making videos, collages, splitting the videos etc. I can across two of my favorite features on this app, the wide variety of music they have and the fact that I can’t take Cap Cut anywhere with me. The template button was also very helpful considering that you could search up anything you wanted. For example, business video template, you click search and it pops up. Unlike other editing apps that I’ve seen they’ve all been expensive and immobile. I did look at other editing apps like Photoshop and Videoleap. In order for these apps to work, you have to start a trial. That was definitely a no for me! As a student, I think this app will really help me make my projects this year be successful. Easily, I can take off the watermarks in Capcut while in the other apps I cant do the same meaning it would look very unprofessional. I plan on searching up videos and more tutorials on how to properly use the Cap cut app to make my commercial look good. I’ll see you guys further into my commercial progress! See you soon.
